When We Are Closed

When the surgery is closed if you require medical advice or need to see a doctor, please telephone NHS111. A call operator will ask you questions about your condition / concern, if necessary a doctor or nurse will call you back with further advice.

Patients can also attend the GP led urgent care center located at the George Eliot Hospital next to A&E.

Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
